A 28-year-old male presented with bilateral ankle edema, red cheeks, and moon face without obvious cause 2 months ago. The results of laboratory examinations pointed to the diagnosis of ectopic adrenocorticotropic hormone (ACTH) syndrome. However, regular imaging examinations did not find any lesions. The patient then underwent [18F]FDG and [18F]F-AlF-NOTA-octreotide PET/CT to screen the underlying source for ectopic ACTH syndrome. …
